Infor CPQ 2026.10: What's New and What It Means for Your Team
Infor's 2026.10 CPQ release is here. The headline is GenAI inside Enterprise Quoting and the Enterprise Configurator, but there is a lot more in this release: better mobile quoting, built-in e-signatures, cost and margin visibility, and a long list of changes that save your team time every day.
Below is a practical look at what is new, what problem each change solves, and what it means for how your team quotes and configures.
A quick note on availability: several GenAI capabilities are in limited availability (LA) right now, and a few are moving to general availability (GA). We flag which is which below.
Smarter Quoting with GenAI
This is the biggest theme of this release. Infor is adding GenAI assistants across the quoting and configuration workflow, so reps and admins can work in plain language instead of clicking through screens.
Product configuration by prompt (LA). Reps are not always aware of every option available for a configurable product, and configuring one often means moving across multiple screens. With the GenAI Assistant for Product Configuration, a rep can ask what options exist, then configure the product and add it to a new or existing quote using natural language. The result is faster quote creation and less dependence on deep product knowledge or training.
Quote creation and version comparison (LA to GA). The assistant can help build quotes and compare versions, which cuts the time spent hunting for what changed between revisions.
Enterprise Quoting search (LA to GA). Search quotes using natural language instead of working through filters.
Line quantities and rapid options (LA). Assistant support now extends to adding line quantities and rapid options, so more of a quote can be built in one place.
Quotes and orders from email attachments (LA). Classifying customer requests from email attachments is slow, manual work, and re-keying data creates errors and rework. This release adds RPA workflows and GenAI agents that classify inbound documents and automatically create Direct Quotes and Orders. A human-in-the-loop review step lets your team correct extracted data and requeue it for reprocessing. Your sales team spends less time on data entry and more time selling, and orders move faster without giving up data accuracy.
Rule generation and analysis in the Configurator (LA). Building and maintaining rulesets is manual, time-intensive, and depends on deep product knowledge. The GenAI Assistant for Rule Generation lets users create rules and rulesets from language prompts and analyze existing rulesets with guided optimization suggestions. That opens rule creation to less technical users and helps surface inefficient or outdated logic.
Configurator expressions (LA to GA). The assistant also helps with writing Configurator expressions.
One place to manage GenAI. GenAI enablement used to differ from application to application, with separate, application-specific instructions. This release moves the GenAI Embedded Experience features onto CloudSuite Self-Service Portal feature toggles, in both Enterprise Quoting and Enterprise Configurator. You can manage them across your tenants from a single, centralized platform, so you control when each assistant is turned on. Note that once a feature reaches general availability, it can no longer be disabled.
Quoting on the Go
Tablet-friendly forms. Until now, Enterprise Quoting showed the full desktop UI on tablets. This release extends the mobile experience from Dealer forms to Direct Representative forms, and redesigns unoptimized dealer forms too. The layout is touch-optimized and responsive, which reduces navigation effort for reps managing quotes and orders in the field.
Branded mobile app. With Progressive Web App (PWA) support, you can install a branded Enterprise Quoting app on Android and iOS devices. Each customer gets its own app name, logo, theme colors, splash screen, and portal URL, and branding for one customer never affects another. Generic web shortcuts become a real branded app on the home screen.
Control what shows on each device. A new Display On property lets designers decide whether a form element appears on desktop, mobile, or both. Before, elements could not be configured for desktop or mobile individually. Parent display settings take precedence over child settings, so parent and child elements render consistently on every device.
Start on the right tab. A new Remember Last Tab property in the Designer lets you choose whether users return to the last tab they viewed or open the default tab. Mobile quote-to-order workflows often need users to start on a specific tab, and this gives your team a consistent starting point instead of making users navigate back manually.
Faster Close
Built-in e-signatures with DocuSign. Signing used to mean generating, exporting, distributing, and tracking documents through a separate process. That adds effort, slows approvals, and makes status hard to track. Enterprise Quoting now integrates with DocuSign through a secure web service, so users can request signatures directly from the quote. Both email-based and embedded signing are supported, and the signing stays inside the quoting workflow.
Smarter Pricing
Product cost and margin in quotes and orders. Manufacturers and distributors often lack visibility into cost and margin while pricing a quote. This release adds product cost and displays cost and margin across quotes and orders. It also supports margin-driven pricing, with recalculation between margin, discount, and net price. Reps see the profitability impact of a pricing decision as they make it, which improves pricing accuracy and approval workflows.
Everyday Productivity
These changes are smaller on their own, but they add up for the people who use the system all day.
New IDS grid with personalized columns. Enterprise Quoting now uses the modern IDS grid across all modules, replacing the legacy component. Grids used to show a fixed set of columns defined by the administrator. Now administrators define which columns are available, and end users can show or hide columns, reorder them by drag and drop, and resize them to fit their work, with preferences saved across sessions. Each column also gets advanced filtering by data type, with up to ten filter types, so users find what they need faster. Future IDS improvements flow into Enterprise Quoting with minimal development effort.
Faster data entry in the Configurator. Dynamic grids now keep a blank row at the bottom. Type into it and it becomes a data row, and a new blank row appears. Admins can enter data without reaching for an Add Row button.
Copy only what you need. Copying a rule used to bring all of its child rules along, which meant manual cleanup. The Copy menu now offers Copy and Copy with Children, each with a keyboard shortcut.
Keyboard shortcuts in the app. A new in-app shortcuts window and tooltip hints replace the trip to the user guide.
Faster copies of large quotes. Two new rules in the Designer improve performance for large quotes. Copy Record with Descendants duplicates a parent record and its eligible descendants in a single SQL-based bulk operation, with no-code field updates after the copy. Copy Configurations By Detail Mapping copies only the configurations you map from source to target detail, in a single API call.
Cloud or On-Prem aware copying. The GetConfiguratorSetting function now returns an Endpoint Type of Cloud or On-Prem. Before, downstream business logic could not tell which kind of Configurator Endpoint was in use, which made it hard to pick the right configuration copy method. Now rules can use the Endpoint Type to select the appropriate one. Existing properties and behavior stay the same.
Keystone-only document storage. Files no longer have to be stored in both Keystone and IDM. A configurable option keeps documents in Keystone and uses IDM only temporarily for operations like document stitching, which reduces latency for file-heavy workflows.
Regression testing without monthly quotas. The fixed monthly execution quota for configuration tests is replaced by thread-based concurrency. Teams that need faster test execution can opt into multi-threaded processing through an additional licensing option.
Built for Designers and Admins
These changes cut the maintenance work that builds up behind the scenes.
No more hardcoded hostnames. A new Sys.hostname system variable resolves to the current application's host name at runtime. Teams used to maintain environment-specific URLs by hand in expressions, which added effort and risked configuration errors. Now the correct hostname follows the active environment automatically.
Generate URLs with CreateEntityURL and CreateActionURL. Two new functions in the Keystone Expression Editor build entity and action navigation URLs dynamically from entity, record, and action parameters. They support navigation to entities, records, child entities, and custom actions, so you no longer hardcode URLs that break when structures or environments change. Existing security and authorization permissions still apply.
Template-based 3D Design Automation. 3D Design Automation was tightly coupled to specific CAD integrations, which limited scalability and customer choice. A new generic CAD interface separates the 3D logic from CAD-specific implementations. Configurable templates define the CAD-specific commands and data, and a new 3D Design Automation rule uses those templates when running queued configurations. The result is faster onboarding of new CAD platforms, shorter time to market, and no need to write CAD-specific CPQ rules. This is an automatic change.
Built for AI and Analytics
Downloadable business logic traces. Keystone traces can now be exported as ZIP files of plain text, including ranked performance statistics (longest-running, cumulative, and average). That makes it easier to share traces with Infor Support, keep them after a snapshot is applied, find performance bottlenecks, and feed them into AI-based analysis tools.
Revised CPQ Data Catalog Schemas. More configuration data now flows into Data Lake. A new Data Lake classification type lets you send computed component attributes, and predefined attributes are sent automatically. This expands the dataset available for analytics and AI models. It is a feature toggle, so you opt in at your own pace.
What This Means for Your Team
The pattern across this release is clear: less manual work for reps, faster paths from request to signed quote, and a platform that is getting ready for AI-driven workflows. The GenAI items in particular are worth a conversation now, since several are in limited availability and are enabled through feature toggles.
