It feels like just yesterday, our Founders: Benjamin Karam and Jeremy Finley came together with a shared vision to start RenaissanceTech.  What started as a 2-man venture operating out of each other’s homes, has now grown to a team of 20+ CPQ experts.  They opened their first office at the Dublin Entrepreneurial Center (DEC) in 2013 and continued to outgrow their office space before establishing the current headquarters in Dublin, Ohio.

Our Pillars of Success: Customer Satisfaction and Continued Learning

From the very start, RenaissanceTech set out to provide best-in-class service to its customers. “We always felt like the only way to get the full potential out of CPQ software is to partner with people who know it inside and out.  With decades of experience, we are able to provide real world solutions and design a system that tackles companies’ unique issues. By putting the customers priorities first, understanding the team that will be managing the software, and caring about their goals and expectations – we have been able to develop life-long customers,” says Jeremy Finley. “Caring about the customer only gets you so far though. To fully deliver what customers are expecting, we also have to know the technology inside and out.”

At RenaissanceTech, we understand that to thrive in the fast-paced tech world, we need to adapt and be at the front of emerging technologies. Over the years, RenaissanceTech’s expertise has grown from on-premise only – to supporting cloud software and developing our own enterprise software product, SwiftSell, for manufacturing e-commerce. As industry technology and trends have changed – so too has RenaissanceTech’s offerings.  “Continued education is something that we constantly promote at RenaissanceTech.  If you are complacent in your knowledge, then someone will pass you up!”, comments Ben Karam.  The software we support, the technologies they are built on, and the trends of manufacturing are evolving every day, and companies look for RenaissanceTech to not only know about it but to also understand all of it.

Celebrating with Gratitude

Like most milestones, 10 years in business gives time for reflection on the successes, on the failures, and all of the hard work that it has taken to get this far.  While there were a few landmark moments along the way, it is mostly made up of much smaller accomplishments.  At the heart of it all, success can be attributed to three main things: the RenaissanceTech team who’s brain power and innovation is put to the test every day; our customers, who bring new ideas and new challenges on every project; and our strategic business partnerships, who have augmented our areas of expertise. Cheers to 10 years!  We look forward to the next 10 years and can only imagine how technology will have changed
